Power Davits

by Ultimate Die Corporation Power Boat Davits offer boat owners the optimum in dinghy handling and storage. These transom or swim platform mounted davits allow rapid launch and retrieval of yacht tenders and personal watercraft (jet skis) up to 1,000 pounds. Larger loads can also be accommodated and are governed by the structural capabilities of the host vessel.

The power davits are made of stainless steel and are electro-polished. Powder coating to a color of your choice, or full bright polish (mirror finish) is also optionally available. Each davit arm can be individually controlled; one side lowered or raised to allow draining of any accumulated water. Simple snap eyes rapidly attach the tender to the davits. Since no winches are involved, there are no ropes or cables to break or get tangled or jammed.

The power davits are controlled through water resistant rocker switches. An optional pendant switch with retractable coil is available for installations that do not have a suitable location for the rocker switches or when the boater wants the added convenience of operating them from the dinghy. PowerDavits automatically stop when they reach either end of their travel. A radio remote control with key chain transmitters is also available.
